David Vockley, Geospatial Intelligence Analyst

David graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Master’s in Geospatial Intelligence. Working in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial intelligence, he utilizes imagery and spatial data to perform analyses and observe complex spatial relationships. David is an FAA part 107 certified UAS pilot, enabling him to collect aerial imagery for commercial projects. He has experience using common GIS analytic and mapping applications including Python, Esri ArcGIS products, Quantum GIS, and GRASS GIS. He is passionate about studying urban development and the impact it has on the environment and emergency management. In his free time, David enjoys flying as a private pilot, backpacking, scuba diving, and sailing.
