Troublesome Creek Influent Wastewater Pump Station

The Troublesome Creek Influent Pump Station serves the Sun City Peachtree Development plus will serve future adjacent development.

The initial phase of the Troublesome Pump Station includes two 130-HP Flygt Model CP-3300 submersible pumps. The pump station will ultimately be a triplex station with the installation of one additional 133-HP pump. GA Industries Checktronics Check Valves were installed to reduce pump shutdown surges. A 275 kW standby generator provides continuous operation during power failures. The 12-foot diameter wet well provides substantial storage for the ultimate flow requirement.

The pump station was constructed by Southern Champion at a cost of $872,000.
